With the cold and flu season, here are a few helpful hints.
ROSE HIP TEA - Full of vitamin C.
THYME TEA - A natural anti- viral. Drink lots of it if you are exposed to an enviroment with sniffly people.
You may want to try diffusing thyme and rosemary essential oils. These are both highly anti-viral and disinfectant. Try these in an oil diffuser or simmer pot.
If you already have the sniffles, nothing clears you up like eucalyptus oil. Dffuse some in a diffuser beside your bed while you sleep. I like to mix mine with pine oil. These oils should clear up your breathing enough to give you a night's rest.
Try 20 drops of eucalyptus and 10 drops of pine. With a tea light, this should last you through the night.
If you have an upset stomach, try drinking a mix of peppermint and catnip tea. The catnip is very soothing and the peppermint is great for settling your stomach. You can sweeten with honey if you like.
